Program Description

NTDSE Instructional Coaches are available to Township Schools and NTDSE Programs. Instructional coaches provide high-quality professional development, training, and coaching in evidence -based practices to staff in order to improve student learning.

NTDSE Instructional Coaches have expertly trained in a variety of evidence based practices such as (but not limited to) Applied Behavior Analysis, CHAMPS, Direct Instruction, TEACCH, CPI, AIMSWeb and EXCEL for Data Analysis, and Problem Solving.

Team Approach

NTDSE Instructional Coaches are available to provide support to schools, programs, classrooms, and individual classroom teachers through both coaching and professional development. Intervention Specialist may support students during a crisis as needed. NTDSE Instructional Coaches provide service within a collaborative model. They are a member of a multidisciplinary team that develops goals and strategies to be utilized across settings with classroom staff, family, and therapists. NTDSE Instructional Coaches support teachers to develop individualized academic and behavior plans for students as requested.


NTDSE Instructional Coaches are proficient with EXCEL and AIMSweb for student data analysis. They are available to provide support to Teachers in these areas.
